About who ACR is:
Accountability and Compliance Resources LLC is a family operated company.
The Senior Consultant and Owner of ACR is Karen Baker-Jepsen. Karen has lived and worked in Albuquerque and the New Mexico area for over 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Communication Studies. Her history lends itself well to understanding the schools and many of the compliance challenges that exist with students, staff, and curriculum. Karen has taught in middle school and at the university level. Locally she has experience as a Human Resources Division Manager and a STARS Coordinator with the Albuquerque Public Schools. Karen has also been a law enforcement officer for the Dept of Homeland Security and the Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office and is currently a volunteer EMT.
Shari Herrington has lived in New Mexico for more than 20 years and is pursuing a degree in Nursing while raising a 3-year old and expecting another little boy in July. She has worked as a registrar in several charter schools in New Mexico and brings extensive experience and knowledge to the company in her position as Consultant. Shari is a volunteer EMT and Karen's eldest child.
Carolyn Rideout lives in Saratoga Springs, UT and has been working at home as a Bookkeeper for over a decade. She has an Associate's Degree in Accounting and hasn't decided if she can squeeze in a Bachelor's Degree while raising two teenagers. Carolyn is Karen's youngest sister and could probably share some childhood stories guaranteed to create a laugh.
